Due to supply chain issues, the microprocessor in the radio has changed and the old CPS is no longer compatible with the new hardware. If you received your radio about mid September 2022 or later you will need to use this CPS. Yes we know that this version looks like an older version of the CPS because .153 is a lower number than .78.

First load the Firmware file, look at the Firmware Update Instructions.

Then load the ENGLISH File, look at the INSTRUCTIONS TO LOAD ENGLISH FILE.

The ENGLISH file must be loaded for the updated firmware to work.

This version fixed a problem that only affects the VHF version of the CS580. Allows the use of smaller channel spacing than the orginal version.
